Our 1st lot of meatie chicks are now fully grown chickens and ready for the table.
We plan on doing it sometime this week - well Ron is.
I have only had to dispatch one of our chickens and that's only coz Ron wasn't about. I not sure I could dispatch, pluck and gut 5 chickens in 1 day 1st time round.
I plan on having a roast with the 1st one. and the rest will be put in the freezer until they are needed.
